"Key Lessons Learned while Supporting Social Enterprises in Uganda"

In the Spring of 2016 I volunteered as a team leader in a Challenges Worldwide programme in Kampala (Uganda). This was a great opportunity to work with entrepreneurs in a developing country and help them to scale their businesses and generate sustainable impact in their community. As a former entrepreneur, with an existing interest in social entrepreneurship and a degree in International Relations in my pocket, I was excited to spend three months working in Uganda. Looking back it’s safe to say that this was one of the most challenging and significant times of my life, and I would like to share the key lessons I learned.
